Boss Jig

Working on Jo’s bike I decided to set up some small braze-on clamps and do-dads. My favorite was this improvised Pedro’s bike stand clamp as bottle boss jig. I set up the clamp on the Bridgeport and drilled the holes like so…works like a charm!

Lily of the Valley

In the spirit of recapping 2010… A few pictures of a cross bike I built (“Lily of the Valley”) in the late summer and built up just in time for the D2R2 which was a complete blast and I cannot wait to sign up for this year… debating the route is all…
What made the ride so much fun was the the folks I rode with and really long dirt roads that kept wandering and wandering till it was time to come home. What more can you ask? Its not a race…
And so, the LOV was fillet brazed and built up with sram red/rival mix, and anything else I could find at the bike swap (thanks noah!)… Its a really great fit. I dropped the bars since I took these photos and everthing has settled in nicely.
